"Silent" 18 leader speaks on gang violence in the neighborhood Paraiso II in Guatemala City. "I was fifteen. I began to get involved... when I was fifteen the gangs were not like they are now. Before they were not so organized; they were like youth groups, and they dedicated to theft and drugs. Right now they have developed a lot, because we don� speak about drugs and theft, we speak about hit men." Silent was killed in September of 2006.
